CTrader Desktop is a fully working PC version of the cTrader trading platform with all the charting and trading functionality as the previous cTrader versions.
It allows customers to access their trading accounts and trade from multiple devices and operating systems. Installing cTrader Desktop is required.
CTrader trade Options
If you're interested in trading on cTrader, you should know the different sorts of trading. The platform offers copy trading, algorithmic trading, and trading-created techniques.
Manual Trading
Manual trading has numerous advantages. As a rookie, I know that traders use it to monitor their investments, execute established methods, and use advanced technical indicators for chart analysis.
You decide when to open and close positions, how much money to invest in each position, and what to do with your profit or loss if you trade manually.
This can be time-consuming. Many traders execute their own plans because they want more control over their transactions and assets.
Copy-Trading
Traders can copy experienced traders' tactics on cTrader. This is a good choice for individuals who quit opening trades manually due to a poor strategy, don't have time to study investing, or are seeking for another approach to trade.
Fondex, one of the cTrader brokers, allows traders to copy trade via the platform's Copy Section. A trader can choose a strategy from the "Copy" tab. This trading method works on Android and iOS.
Some methods allow traders to copy them on demo accounts before investing real money.
Trading algorithmic
Automated trading allows traders to choose and use trading robots. Traders program a robot to purchase and sell based on parameters.
Many traders choose algorithmic trading. Some don't have the time or want to observe the markets all day or find it difficult to predict price movements, therefore, they prefer algorithmic trading (also called Automated).

Trade
The trade tab is where you'll spend most of your time and make trades and orders. It has several components, which we've explained below.
Charts
Initially, the charts can be perplexing. At the top of the chart, windows are tabs containing any open charts and their assets. The left side has alternatives. The top two are zoom buttons. You can choose from Bar, Candlestick, Line, and Dot charts.
Below this is the option for indicators, which includes many built-in indicators. cBots are the MetaTrader series' expert advisors. You can add and hide charts' drawings.
You can specify seven key timeframes as buttons, and the rest can be selected on the tab at the top of the charts.
Orders
We can place new trades and pending orders in the order box to the right of the platform. You can make market executions, limit orders, stop orders, and stop-limit orders. When creating a market execution trade, you can set the stop loss and take profit levels. CTrader lets you set stop losses and take profits based on pips, estimated price, balance, and profit rather than just price. You may even set a trailing stop to follow the price up and down to provide for some wiggle room. When placing an order, you must enter the price instead of clicking buy or sell.
Position-Monitor
Once a trade or order is placed, it moves to the positions monitored in the platform's middle. There's also a tab for pending orders. This window shows all your open trades, provides a lot of information about them, and can be arranged by their titles. The panel indicates the current balance, equity, margin used, free margin, margin level, and other indicators.
There's a page for account history, which shows closed or canceled trades and orders, and a price alert tab for any notifications you've set up. Deposits and withdrawals are on the transactions tab. The final two tabs detail actions conducted manually or automatically by a cBot.
Watchlist
To the left of the platform is a panel that displays all accessible symbols or your chosen ones. It displays bid and ask prices in an easy-to-read format. Double-clicking an asset opens its chart in the platform's middle. Right-clicking lets you add to your watchlist, place a new order, or open the chart.
Calendar
The platform's calendar is on the right; an extended calendar tab is up top. Scroll down the right toolbar for a smaller version. This gives you an overview of forthcoming news events and their market impact. This helps when trading pairs with upcoming news events.
Automate
The automate option at the bottom left of the platform allows you to develop an automated cBot script, similar to an Expert Advisor in MetaTrader 4 or 5. You can utilize prebuilt bots or construct your own if you know to code.
Copy
The copy tab launches cTrader Copy, a mechanism that lets you view and copy other traders, comparable to MT4 and MT5's signals area. You can look at prior performance and risks and copy transactions if you like it. If you have a solid strategy, you may apply to have your trades included in the system for anyone to copy, earning commissions for each trade.
Analyze
The analysis tab details all your trades and orders so you can analyze their performance. It's a good approach to figuring out what's working and what's not, and there's plenty of information.
Settings
In the settings section, you can change several aspects of the platform. The General page lets you modify interface colors and other settings. The startup, asset, market monitoring, notifications, automation, email, and proxy options are also available. Some are handily based on your tastes.
