The Australian Dollar Continues to Rise This Week

The past few months have been tumultuous for the Aussie dollar, to say the least.

Over the years, there have been many transformations in the wake and ongoing advancement and enhancement of the digital era that have all had their role to play and that have done their part in shaping the world as it continues to evolve, function, and thrive. Whether it is the rise of digital principles in everyday life or the introduction of penetration testing methods (to name just a few examples), the digital era has brought with it many innovative and even life changing inventions that are always changing life as we know it.

Consider the foreign exchange market, for instance. The foreign exchange market is an ever evolving international market that is always rising and falling as the currencies around the globe and their value is constantly shifting with the ebbs and flows of the world’s economies at any given time. This is especially true for the Australian dollar, which has been through more than its fair share of trials and tribulations in recent years - and especially in recent months. The past few months have been tumultuous for the Aussie dollar, to say the least.

The currency down under has experienced months and months of constantly experiencing little highs only to be dragged back down with significant lows not long after. As the RBA has met multiple times in the wake of the ripple effects of the global pandemic, the Australian dollar has been challenged time and again, trying desperately to right itself against the ongoing trials that have plagued the dollar over the last year or so. Up against the US dollar specifically, the Australian dollar has struggled for years now.

Until recently, that is. And especially over this last week. A 33% surge from March has resulted in the strongest position of the Australian dollar in quite a while. And there are many individuals who expect that the Australian dollar is now pinned to experience a prolonged period of strength against the US dollar. For so long, the US dollar has been stronger than the Australian dollar. Now that the tables are turning, there are many investors and outsiders with keen interest that are paying more attention to the Australian dollar - and its position in the foreign exchange market - than ever before.

Heading forward into the coming weeks and months, there is of course no way to tell exactly what is going to happen regarding the value of the Australian dollar at any given point. However, what is becoming clearer all the time is that the Australian dollar is seemingly going from strength to strength in recent weeks and this current week is a testament to the fact that this very much seems to be a trend that continues to go from strength to strength. The value of the Australian dollar continues to rise this week. And hopefully, this is an indication of all the rising value that is still yet to come in the near future (and ideally, beyond that too).
