The company was founded in 2005 and is headquartered in Zhuzhou, China.

Zhuzhou CRRC Times Electric (ZHUZY) with the stock ticker symbol (ZHUZY), sells and manufactures train-borne electrical systems and electrical components.

Three key data points gauge ZHUZY (or any dividend paying entity):

(1) Price

(2) Dividends

(3) Returns

Those three keys also indicate if any company has made, is making, and will make money.

ZHUZY Price

ZHUZY’s single share price rose $0.15 (or under 1%) from $22.00 to $22.15 in the past year, per Wednesday’s opening market report.

No analysts cover the stock. However, the past two year price history shows an average $3.37 annual price gain which I’ll use for its annual return; after I discuss dividends.

ZHUZY Dividends

Zhuzhou has paid annual dividends since August, 2016 but delayed one Covid year payout in 2021. The recent A dividend of $0.50 is payable August 27th (to shareholders on record as of July  2nd) and that annual payout yields  4.53% (per Wednesday’s opening market report.}

ZHUZY Returns

Putting it all together, as of June 24th, a possible gross gain of $3.87 was projected. The $3.37 per share historic annual gain was added to the $0.50 forward looking annual dividend to equal a $3.87 gross gain.

A little under $1000 invested in ZHUZY at Wednesday’s $22.15 opening share price would buy 45 shares which multiply the $3.87 gross gain to $129.57 for the coming year, or about 12.96%.

My dividend dogcatcher rule is to only buy initial shares of a dividend stock that pay an annual dividend (from $1000 invested) that is greater than the cost of one share.

ZHUZYs projected annual dividend from $1K invested is $45.30. So Zhuzhou shows a dividend from $1,000 invested over 2 times greater than its $22.15 recent single share price.

The exact track of ZHUZY’s future share price and dividend will entirely be determined by market action and company finances.

Remember the best way to track stock performance and dividend payments is through direct ownership of company shares.
