The company was founded in 2009 and is headquartered in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Vinci Compass Investments (VINP)  provides solutions for alternative investments through four operating segments:

(1) Private Markets, (2) Liquid Strategies, (3) Investment Products and Solutions, and (4) Financial Advisory.

Three key data points gauge VINP (or any dividend paying entity):

(1) Price

(2) Dividends

(3) Returns

Those three keys also indicate if any company has made, is making, and will make money.

VINP Price

Vinci Compass’s single share price increased  $0.45 (or about 5%) from $9.41 to $9.86 in the past year, per Wednesday’s opening market report.

Six analysts cover the stock. Their median target price predicted a $4.33 gain in price to $14.19 in  the next year. However, 3 years of price history shows an average  $0.56 annual price gain. So, I’ll split the difference between the analysts and three year reckonings and calculate a $2.45 annual return; after I discuss dividends.

VINP Dividends

Vinci Compass has paid quarterly dividends since September, 2021.

The most recent Q dividend of $0.17 is paid June 8th (to shareholders on record as of May 22nd) and the resulting annual $0.68 payout yields a forward looking 6.73% (per Wednesday’s opening market report.}

VINP Returns

Putting it all together, as of June 3rd, a possible gross gain of $3.38 was projected. The $2.45 per share compromised annual gain was added to the $0.68 forward looking annual dividend.

A little under $1000 invested in VINP at Wednesday’s $9.86 opening share price would buy 109 shares which multiply the $3.38 gross gain to $342.80 for the coming year, or 34.28%.

My dividend dogcatcher rule is to only buy initial shares of a dividend stock that pay an annual dividend (from $1000 invested) that is greater than the cost of one share.

Vinci Compass’s projected annual dividend from $1K invested is $67.30. So VINP shows a dividend from $1,000 invested over 6.8 times its $9.68 single share price as of Wednesday’s opening.

The exact track of VINP’s future share price and dividend will entirely be determined by market action and company finances.

Remember the best way to track stock performance and dividend payments is through direct ownership of company shares.
