Patria Investments was founded in 2001 and is headquartered in George Town, Cayman Islands.
PAX provides asset management services to private equity, infrastructure, real estate, and credit clients.
Three key data points gauge PAX (or any dividend paying equity):
(1) Price
(2) Dividends
(3) Returns
Those three keys also indicate if any company has made, is making, and will make money.
PAX Price
Patria’s single share price dropped by $5.64, or 37%, falling from $15.20 to $9.56 in the past year, per Thursday’s opening market report.
Six analysts cover the stock and set a one year price target $5.37 higher at $14.83.
However, PAX’s November 2024 price progression from $11.85 to $15.02 one year later showed an annual gain of $3.17. I’ll use that 2024-25 annual progression number to calculate returns after I discuss PAX dividends.
PAX Dividends
Patria Investment Ltd has paid variable quarterly dividends since June, 2021.
The most recent Q dividend of $0.16 per share will pay out December 11, 2026 (to shareholders of record November 13th). The total annual forward looking dividend of $0.64 yields 6.66% annually (per Thursday’s opening market report.)
PAX Returns
Putting it all together, as of November 5th, a possible Patria Investments gross gain of $3.81 was projected.
To get there, our $3.17 per share potential annual price gain was added to the $0.64 presumed forward looking annual dividend to make that $3.81 gross gain.
A little over $1000 invested in PAX at Thursday’s $9.56 opening price would buy 104.6 shares which multiply the hypothetical $3.81 gross gain to $398.54 for the coming year, or about 39.85%.
By the way, a dividend dogcatcher guideline is to only buy initial shares of a dividend stock that pay an annual dividend (from $1000 invested) that is more than the cost of one share.
PAX’s projected annual dividend from $1K invested is $66.60 and that annual dividend proves to be near 7 times more than its Thursday $9.56 single-share opening price.
The exact track of Patria Investments’ future share price and dividend will entirely be determined by market action and company finances.
Remember the best way to track stock performance and dividend payments is through direct ownership of company shares.
