Karooooo Ltd (KARO) was founded in May, 2018 and is headquartered in Singapore.

The company provides mobility data analytics solutions for the transportation industry, through the Cartrack, Carzuka, and Karooooo Logistics, business segments.

Three key data points gauge Karooooo Ltd (or any dividend paying entity):

(1) Price

(2) Dividends

(3) Returns

Those three keys also indicate if any company has made, is making, and will make money.

KARO Price

Karooooo’s single share price increased $6.35 (or over 14.68%) from $43.33 to $49.69 in the past year, per Wednesday’s closing market report.

Six analysts cover the stock and the median of their one year price targets for KARO is set for an increase of $12.84 to $62.47. However, the past 3 year price history for KARO reports an average annual gain of $8.80 which I’ll use to calculate returns after I discuss dividends.

KARO Dividends

Karooooo Ltd has paid increasing annual dividends since September 2022. The most recent payout from August 2025 was $1.25.

KARO Returns

Putting it all together, as of April 30 a possible gross gain of $10.05 was projected by the $8.80 per share five year averaged annual gain added to a $1.25 annual dividend.

A little under $1000 invested in KARO at Wednesday’s $49.69 closing share price would buy 20 shares which multiply the $10.25 gross gain to $206.28 for the coming year or 20.63%.

One dividend dogcatcher rule is to only buy initial shares of a dividend stock that pay an annual dividend (from

$1000 invested) that is more than the cost of a single share.

KARO’s annual dividend from $1K invested is $25.57 which just over half its $49.69  Wednesday closing share price.  Hold off investing for Karoooo’s dividend payout until the $1.25 dividend is paid quarterly or share price drops to $35.00

The exact track of KARO’s future share price and dividend will entirely be determined by market action and company finances.

Remember the best way to track stock performance and dividend payments is through direct ownership of company shares.
