S&P 500 Snapshot: Mostly Down First Week Of '22, But 2.5% Off High

The S&P 500 spent the first week of 2022 down four out of five days, but it is only 2.5% off its record close.

The U.S. Treasury puts the closing yield on the 10-year note as of Jan. 7 at 1.76% which is above its record low (0.52% on Aug. 4, 2020). The 2-year note is at 087%.
