Microsoft's (MSFT) corporate vice president of retail and consumer goods Shelley Bransten said in an interview that the company is considering a competitor to Shopify (SHOP), Priya Anand of The Information reports.
Microsoft sees an opening to cater to larger companies looking for e-commerce platforms, Bransten told the website.

Shares of Shopify, which powers the websites of many e-commerce services and brands, are down 3% to $201.04 in early trading. Reference Link
