Asian markets traded higher on Thursday, following an overnight rally on Wall Street, with Japan's Nikkei 225 crossing above 59,000 for the first time.
US stock market ended higher on Wednesday and touched two-week highs, as technology stocks extended their rally.

At present, the BSE Sensex is trading 90 points higher, and the NSE Nifty is trading 41 points higher.
Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and TCS are among the top gainers today.
Tata Steel, ICICI Bank, and HUL, on the other hand, are among the top losers today.
The BSE Midcap index is trading 0.6% higher, and the BSE Smallcap index is trading 0.3% higher.
Sectoral indices are trading mixed today, with stocks in the banking sector and the IT sector witnessing buying. Meanwhile, stocks in the realty sector and the FMCG sector witnessed selling pressure.
The rupee is trading at Rs 90 against the US dollar.
Shaily Engineering Strengthens Order Book
Shaily Engineering Plastics has secured a manufacturing and commercial supply agreement valued at approximately Rs 4.23 billion (bn) from a leading domestic pharmaceutical company for the supply of pen injectors.
The company did not disclose the name of the client, citing confidentiality obligations, according to its exchange filing. The contract, awarded by an Indian pharmaceutical entity, covers the production and commercial supply of pen injectors over a four-year period.
XTGlobal Secures US Public Sector Deal
XTGlobal Infotech Limited has secured an Artificial Intelligence (AI) engineering services contract from a leading U.S.-based State Transportation Agency. The project was awarded through a competitive multi-vendor bidding process under the agency's Software Development Services framework, where XTGlobal was selected for its expertise in AI/ML engineering, secure software development practices, and experience delivering projects in regulated government environments.
The engagement strengthens the company's presence in the U.S. public sector and further expands its Transportation vertical. The project involves transforming an internally developed AI Proof of Concept into a production-ready solution that will support digital engineering and infrastructure workflows.
The initial engagement is structured for six months and will focus on deploying AI-driven document generation, intelligent processing and compliance automation, supervised AI workflows, cloud-native deployment capabilities, digital signature enablement, and productivity enhancements for engineering teams.
The total contract value for the initial six-month phase is approximately USD 796,900, which translates to about (Rs 0.07 billion).

NTPC Green Energy Expands Wind Capacity
NTPC Green Energy Limited has announced that 50 MW of capacity under Phase-II of the 200 MW Dayapar Wind Energy Project in Gujarat has commenced commercial operations with effect from 26 February 2026.
The project is being developed by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company.
Following the commissioning of this 50 MW capacity, the total commercial capacity of NTPC Green Energy Limited Group has increased from 9,151.08 MW to 9,201.08 MW.
