Sensex Today Trades Lower; Trent & ICICI Bank Top Losers

Asian markets struggled for direction as a mixed batch of regional economic data and fresh Iranian threats ?in the Persian Gulf drove oil prices and bond yields higher.

US equities were closed Monday for the Labor Day holiday, with trading set to resume today.

At present, the BSE Sensex is trading 356 points lower, and NSE Nifty is trading 94 points lower.

Bharat Elec, Eternal Company the top gainers today.

Trent, Sun Pharma, ICICI Bank on the other hand is among the top losers today.

The BSE 150 Midcap index is trading 0.08% lower and the BSE 250 SmallCap index is trading 0.1% lower.

Sectoral indices are trading mixed today with power sector and telecommunication sector witnessed buying. Meanwhile, stocks in realty sector and oil & gas sector witnesses selling pressure.

The rupee is trading at Rs 94.6 against the US dollar.

Arisinfra Strengthens Presence in Bengaluru Realty

ArisUnitern RE Solutions Private Limited ("Unitern"), the Developer-as-a-Service (DaaS) platform of Arisinfra Solutions Limited has partnered with O2 Spaces, part of the Vaishnavi Residences Group, to deliver end-to-end DaaS services for "Morning Mist," a premium residential project in Whitefield, Bengaluru.

The engagement covers approximately 2.0 lakh sq. ft. of the developer's saleable area within the 3.3 lakh sq. ft. project, comprising 180 premium residential units. This marks Unitern's third project with the Vaishnavi Residences Group, strengthening its relationship with one of Bengaluru's established residential developers.

As the exclusive DaaS partner, Unitern will manage the project's end-to-end value chain, including design, construction coordination, branding, sales and marketing, CRM, collections, operations, channel partner management, and investor/lender coordination through its Money, Material and Management framework.

The engagement begins on September 15, 2026, for an initial 36-month term. The project also presents an estimated Rs 1000+ milliom material supply opportunity for Arisinfra, highlighting the scale of Unitern's integrated DaaS model.

GE Vernova T&D Wins Major Transmission Bid

GE Vernova T&D India Limited has emerged as the L1 bidder for a major transmission project awarded by Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (Power Grid).

The project involves the design, supply and execution of a 6,000 MW, ±800 kV High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) LCC Terminal Station, comprising two 3,000 MW terminals, for the evacuation of renewable power from Barmer II to South Kalamb.

The order has been awarded by a domestic entity and is expected to be executed over a period of multiple years. The project further strengthens GE Vernova T&D India's position in India's high-voltage transmission infrastructure and renewable power evacuation segment.
