Asian markets traded lower on Friday, following overnight losses on Wall Street, as the Iran war lifted energy prices.
US stock market ended sharply lower on Thursday as the Middle East conflict entered its sixth day, pushing oil prices higher.

At present, the BSE Sensex is trading 415 points lower, and the NSE Nifty is trading 121 points lower.
Bharat Elec, Tech Mahindra, and NTPC are among the top gainers today.
HDFC Bank, Tata Steel, and Maruti Suzuki, on the other hand, are among the top losers today.
The BSE Midcap index is trading 1.5% lower, and the BSE Smallcap index is trading 2.1% lower.
Sectoral indices are trading mixed today, with stocks in the auto sector and the banking sector witnessing selling pressure. Meanwhile, stocks in the power sector and the IT sector witnessed buying.
The rupee is trading at Rs 91.6 against the US dollar.
Tata Elxsi Introduces Automotive AI Platform
Tata Elxsi has launched DevStudio.ai, a new AI-powered platform designed to help automotive companies build software faster and more efficiently.
DevStudio.ai uses multiple AI agents that can work together with engineers throughout the automotive software development process. It helps teams manage different stages such as writing requirements, designing systems, coding, testing, and validating software, while keeping everything connected and traceable.
The platform can run on both cloud systems and secure on-premise environments, giving companies flexibility depending on their infrastructure and security policies.
Unlike many generative AI tools built for general software development, DevStudio.ai is specifically designed for the automotive industry. It combines Tata Elxsi's automotive expertise with AI to handle the complex safety, compliance, and engineering requirements involved in vehicle software.
It also supports the ASPICE development framework and integrates easily with the engineering tools already used by automakers and Tier-1 suppliers, allowing teams to add AI support directly into their existing workflows.
SBI Card Declares FY26 Interim Dividend
SBI Cards and Payment Services Ltd has announced an interim dividend of Rs 2.50 per share for the financial year 2025-26.
The company has set 11 March 2026, as the record date, which means shareholders whose names appear in the company's records on that date will be eligible to receive the dividend. The payout equals 25% of the face value of Rs 10 per share.
The company also said that the dividend will be credited or sent to eligible shareholders on or before 3 April 2026.
DCX Systems Strengthens Defence Order Book
DCX Systems Limited announced that it has received a purchase order worth Rs 0.68 billion (bn) from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited.
The order is for the manufacturing and supply of customized antennas and power supplies used in airborne defence systems.
The company said this order adds to its existing projects and supports its focus on defence and aerospace electronics. HAL has sourced these specialized components to improve its airborne platforms.
