SBI Funds Management reported a 3.7% year-on-year growth in consolidated net profit for the June quarter, supported by continued domestic mutual fund inflows. This was the company's first earnings announcement after its stock market debut in July.

The asset manager posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 8.8 billion (bn) for the quarter ended June 30, compared with Rs 8.49 bn in the same period last year.

Consolidated revenue from operations increased nearly 15% year-on-year to Rs 11.53 bn. However, a significant decline in other income, which fell to Rs 2.37 bn, partially offset the growth in operating revenue.

SBI Funds Management continued to see strong growth in its systematic investment plan (SIP) assets under management. SIP AUM increased 15% year-on-year to Rs 200 bn as of June 30, giving the company a 12.3% market share.

The company's customer base grew 12% year-on-year to 18.2 million investors, while total live folios increased 14% to 22 million.

IREDA Q1 FY27 Performance

Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) reported a mixed performance for Q1 FY27, with profitability improving on a year-on-year basis but declining sequentially due to higher finance costs and increased provisions.

The state-owned renewable energy financier reported a net profit of Rs 3.39 bn for the quarter ended June 2026, marking a 37.1% year-on-year increase compared with Rs 2.47 bn in the same quarter last year.

However, on a sequential basis, net profit declined 31.3% from Rs 4.93 bn reported in Q4 FY26.

Revenue from operations stood at Rs 22.49 bn in Q1 FY27, growing 15.5% year-on-year from Rs 19.48 bn in the corresponding period last year.

DLF Q1 FY27 Performance

DLF Ltd reported a mixed performance for Q1 FY27, with consolidated net profit increasing year-on-year despite a decline in revenue due to delayed project launches.

The real estate major posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 7.94 bn for the quarter ended June 2026, registering a 4% year-on-year increase compared with Rs 7.63 bn in Q1 FY26.

However, consolidated revenue declined 46% year-on-year to Rs 16.06 bn during the April-June quarter, compared with Rs 29.81 bn in the same period last year.

New sales bookings during Q1 FY27 stood at Rs 6.57 bn, impacted by the timing of planned project launches. The company stated that upcoming projects are well positioned for market introduction and approvals are expected soon.

DLF reported gross margins of 51%, while EBITDA stood at Rs 4.76 bn for the quarter.

The company highlighted that the lower sales bookings were primarily due to deferred launches rather than a change in market demand.
