Asian markets traded higher on Monday amid Trump's Tariff move.

US stock market ended higher on Friday as investors absorbed a ruling by the US Supreme Court striking down President Donald Trump's tariffs.

At present, the BSE Sensex is trading 535 points higher, and the NSE Nifty is trading 167 points higher.

Axis Bank, Kotak Mahindra, and HDFC Bank are among the top gainers today.

Infosys, NTPC on the other hand, are among the top losers today.

The BSE Midcap index is trading 2% higher, and the BSE Smallcap index is trading 2.5% higher.

Sectoral indices are trading mixed today, with stocks in the IT sector and oil & gas sector witnessing selling pressure. Meanwhile, stocks inthe services sector and the banking sector witnessed buying.

The rupee is trading at Rs 90 against the US dollar.

UPL Unlocks Value Through Reorganization

The Board has approved a group reorganization through a composite scheme of arrangement aimed at unlocking shareholder value by establishing a focused and independent crop protection platform.

Under the proposed structure, UPL's India and international crop protection businesses will be consolidated. As part of the scheme, UPL Sustainable Agri Solutions (UPL SAS) will be merged into UPL. Subsequently, the India crop protection business will be demerged into UPL Global Sustainable Agri Solutions. The plan also includes the merger of UPL Crop Protection Holdings (UPL Cayman) with UPL Global Sustainable Agri Solutions.

Following the completion of the scheme, the group will have two listed entities: UPL (the existing listed company) and UPL Global Sustainable Agri Solutions, which will operate as a dedicated crop protection platform and will be listed on the stock exchanges pursuant to the arrangement.

RailTel Bags Major Maharashtra Government Contract

RailTel Corporation of India Limited, in partnership with Ashoka Buildcon Limited, has won a major government contract in Maharashtra.

The consortium received a Letter of Intent (LoI) on 20 February 2026 from the Inspector General of Registration and Controller of Stamps, Maharashtra State, Pune. The project involves appointing a Managed Service Provider (MSP) to modernize the offices under the department.

The work includes complete upgrading, operation, and maintenance of IT systems, network infrastructure, cloud services, and applications. It is a domestic contract focused on end-to-end digitization and technology modernization.

The contract will run for five years and is scheduled to be executed until 19 March 2032. The payment rate is Rs 24.75 per page scanned (one side of a registered document). The total revenue will depend on the actual number of pages scanned during the contract period.

Zscaler & Airtel Launch India Cyber Center

Zscaler, Inc. has partnered with Bharti Airtel to launch the AI & Cyber Threat Research Center - India, aimed at strengthening the country's cybersecurity and promoting safe AI adoption across sectors like telecom, banking, energy, and government services.

The center will serve as a national collaboration platform, bringing together private companies, government bodies, and academia to enhance cyber defenses and build skilled cybersecurity talent. With India's rapid digital growth, cyber threats are increasingly sophisticated, leveraging AI to target critical systems.

Zscaler's ThreatLabz India will analyze threats via its Zero Trust Exchange, while Airtel provides network insights for faster detection and response.

Over time, more critical sector organizations will join to further boost India's cyber resilience.
