Asian markets traded higher on Thursday, rebounding after several days of steep losses, following overnight gains on Wall Street.
US stock market ended higher on Wednesday, led by technology stocks.

At present, the BSE Sensex is trading 313 points higher, and the NSE Nifty is trading 87 points higher.
Adani Ports, Reliance Industries, and Bajaj Finance are among the top gainers today.
TCS, ITC, and Asian Paints, on the other hand, are among the top losers today.
The BSE Midcap index is trading 1.5% lower, and the BSE Smallcap index is trading 2.1% lower.
Sectoral indices are trading positively today, with stocks in the power sector and the realty sector witnessing selling pressure.
The rupee is trading at Rs 91.6 against the US dollar.
GE Shipping Adds New Vessel to Fleet
The Great Eastern Shipping Company Limited (GE Shipping) has signed an agreement to acquire a secondhand Kamsarmax dry bulk carrier with a capacity of about 81,094 dwt on March 4, 2026. The vessel, built in Japan in 2014, is expected to join the company's fleet by Q1 FY27.
The acquisition will be fully funded through internal accruals and is aimed at expanding the company's fleet capacity.
Currently, the company owns 41 vessels, including 27 tankers (5 crude tankers, 17 product tankers, and 5 LPG carriers) and 14 dry bulk carriers (2 Capesize, 9 Kamsarmax, 1 Ultramax, and 2 Supramax), with a total carrying capacity of approximately 3.25 million dwt. The fleet is operating at close to 100% capacity utilization.
In addition, the company has agreed to sell its Very Large Gas Carrier "Jag Vishnu," with the transaction expected to be completed in Q4 FY26.
Ramky Infra Secures Dighi Port EPC Project
Ramky Infrastructure Ltd said it has signed an EPC contract worth Rs 14 billion (bn) with Maharashtra Industrial Township Ltd to develop infrastructure at Dighi Port Industrial Area (DPIA), Phase 1 - Package A in Raigad, Maharashtra.
The project will be completed within 930 days, followed by a four-year operation and maintenance (O&M) period, which can be extended with mutual consent.
The contract includes design, engineering, construction, testing, and commissioning of key infrastructure such as roads, stormwater drainage, water supply systems, sewerage networks, recycled water distribution, power distribution, and ICT utility ducts.
Ramky Infrastructure will execute the project using its in-house engineering and project management capabilities.

MRF To Build New Tamil Nadu Plant
MRF Ltd on Wednesday said it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Government of Tamil Nadu to set up a new tyre manufacturing plant at Sipcot Industrial Park in Sivaganga district.
This will be the company's fourth manufacturing unit in Tamil Nadu, after facilities in Tiruvottiyur, Perambalur, and Arakonam.
The project is expected to involve an investment of around Rd 53 bn over 12 years and could create about 1,000 direct jobs. However, the MoU is non-binding and depends on government approvals, land allocation, infrastructure support, and a customised incentive package.
Apart from Tamil Nadu, MRF also has manufacturing plants in Kerala, Goa, Telangana, and Gujarat.
