At present, the BSE Sensex is trading 17 points lower, and the NSE Nifty is trading 11 points higher.

Bharat Elec, HUL, and Titan Companyare among the top gainers today.

Tech Mahindra, HCL Tech, and M&M, on the other hand, are among the top losers today.

The BSE Midcap index is trading 1.6% higher, and the BSE Smallcap index is trading 2.5% higher.

Sectoral indices are trading mixed today, with stocks in the IT sector and the auto sector witnessing selling pressure. Meanwhile, stocks in the power sector and the banking sector witnessed buying.

The rupee is trading at Rs 90 against the US dollar.

RailTel Strengthens Order Book with NCR Project

The public sector undertaking (PSU) has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from Dy. CSTE/P/CNB, a domestic authority, for a railway signalling project valued at approximately Rs 350 million (m).

The project involves the provision of MSDAC and other associated works, including necessary indoor modifications in EI/RRI/PI stations in the Prayagraj Division of North Central Railway (NCR).

The work is to be completed within 24 months from the date of the LoA and is scheduled for execution until 17 February 2028.

Texmaco & RVNL Form Strategic Rail Venture

Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd. and Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) have signed a Joint Venture Shareholders' Agreement in New Delhi to form a strategic partnership in the rail sector.

This partnership brings together Texmaco's manufacturing strength and export experience with RVNL's expertise in executing large railway infrastructure projects. The aim is to support India's rail manufacturing growth and align with the government's Aatmanirbhar Bharat vision.

Under the agreement, Texmaco will hold a 49% stake in the joint venture, while RVNL will have majority ownership. The new venture will focus on advanced rolling stock (rail coaches and wagons), maintenance and asset management services, and large EPC and turnkey rail infrastructure projects in India and overseas.

The collaboration is designed to boost local manufacturing, promote use of indigenous technology, strengthen supply chains, and create export-ready rail products that meet global standards. It is also expected to generate industrial activity, support MSMEs, create skilled jobs, and promote sustainable practices such as renewable energy use and circular production systems.

In addition to domestic projects, the joint venture plans to target opportunities in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, helping position India as a global hub for rail manufacturing and infrastructure solutions.

Pace Digitek Secures RailTel Surveillance Order

Pace Digitek has received an order from RailTel Corporation of India Limited to supply, install, and commission an IP-based video surveillance system in LHB coaches.

The contract includes supply, installation and commissioning of IP based Video surveillance system in LHB coaches with 03 years warranty followed by 05 years CAMC for a Customer of RailTel (CoR) on back-to-back basis.

The order, valued at Rs 890.69 m (including GST), is to be completed within 8 months from the date of the Letter of Award.
