Sensex Today Tanks 903 Points; Nifty Below 22,900

The Sensex plunged 903 points as rising oil prices and Middle East tensions rattled global markets.

Asian markets traded mixed on Monday, as crude oil prices rose amid uncertainty over the end to the US-Iran war in the Middle East.

Wall Street futures opened lower on Sunday evening after US President Donald Trump rejected Iran's latest proposal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, triggering another rise in crude oil prices and renewing concerns over market sentiment.
