Asian markets traded lower on Friday amid uncertainty over the end of the prolonged US-Iran war.
US stock market ended lower on Thursday, with the Nasdaq confirming a correction, as fears of escalation in the US-Iran war spooked investors.

At present, the BSE Sensex is trading 841 points lower, and the NSE Nifty is trading 270 points lower.
TCS, Infosys, and Tech Mahindra are among the top gainers today.
Internal, Bajaj Finance, and HDFC Bank, on the other hand, are among the top losers today.
The BSE 150 Midcap index is trading 0.9% lower, and the BSE 250 SmallCap index is trading 0.8% lower.
Barring the IT sector, all other sectoral indices are trading negatively today, with stocks in the auto sector and the banking sector witnessing buying.
The rupee is trading at Rs 94.2 against the US dollar.
Infosys Strengthens Healthcare with Strategic Acquisition
Infosys has announced that it plans to acquire Optimum Healthcare IT, a company that helps hospitals and healthcare organizations improve how they operate and use technology.
This move shows Infosys wants to grow its presence in the healthcare sector. Since Optimum Healthcare IT already has strong experience working with healthcare providers, it fits well with Infosys' plans. By acquiring it, Infosys will gain new clients, strengthen its expertise, and expand its services in this industry.
Once the deal is completed, clients of Optimum Healthcare IT will also be able to use Infosys' broader range of services, such as AI, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and digital transformation tools.
The acquisition is expected to be finalized in the first quarter of FY 2027, after all required approvals are completed.
IREDA Announces Interim Dividend for FY26
Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited has announced an interim dividend of ?0.60 per equity share (6% of the ?10 face value) for the financial year 2025-26.
The record date to determine eligible shareholders is set for April 2, 2026. Shareholders who hold the stock on this date will receive the dividend, which will be paid within 30 days of the announcement.
Azad Engineering Secures Major Turbine Supply Contract
Azad Engineering Limited has signed an 8-year long-term agreement with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Limited to become a single-source supplier for advanced gas turbine components.
Under this deal, Azad Engineering will manufacture complex hot-section nozzle vane segments, which are critical parts of gas turbine engines. This marks a major step forward for the company, as it moves from producing simpler compressor components to more advanced and high-value turbine parts.
This partnership strengthens Azad Engineering's relationship with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and supports the expansion of a dedicated manufacturing facility focused on supplying these advanced components for global power generation markets.
