3 Reasons why Indian share markets are falling:

#1 Selloff in Banking, IT, And Other Major Stocks:

Banking and IT stocks fell sharply, pulling the Sensex and Nifty lower. Other major stocks also declined as investors booked profits amid weak global signals and rising oil prices.

#2 Dollar Near An 18-Month High:

The dollar index rose to around 102.5 due to rising tensions between the US and Iran, increasing fears of inflation. A stronger dollar makes Indian markets less attractive to foreign investors, leading to more selling and putting pressure on the rupee and stock markets.

#3 Heavy FPI Selling:

Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) have been selling Indian stocks heavily, putting pressure on the market. High US bond returns and rising crude oil prices are encouraging foreign investors to move their money out of India, causing the Sensex and Nifty to remain under pressure.

The rupee is trading at Rs 95.6 against the US$.

Gold prices for the latest contract on MCX are trading 1.12% lower at Rs 1,49,800 per 10 grams.
