Asian markets traded lower on Monday amid renewed geopolitical tensions in the Middle East as fresh drone attacks in the Gulf pushed up oil prices and bond yields.

US stock market ended sharply lower on Friday amid spiking crude prices and rising Treasury yields.

At present, the BSE Sensex is trading 1,020 points lower, and the NSE Nifty is trading 312 points lower.

Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and Bharti Airtel are among the top gainers today.

Tata Steel, Trent, and Eternal, on the other hand, are among the top losers today.

The BSE 150 Midcap index is trading 1.6% lower, and the BSE 250 SmallCap index is trading 2.2% lower.

Baring IT sector, all other sectoral indices are trading negatively today, with stocks in the metal sector and the auto sector witnessing selling pressure.

The rupee is trading at Rs 96.2 against the US dollar.

Hindustan Copper Q4 FY26 Results

Shares of Hindustan Copper are in focus today after the company reported its Q4 FY26 results.

Hindustan Copper reported a strong performance for the March quarter (Q4FY26), with consolidated net profit rising 137.3% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 4.44 billion (bn), compared to Rs 1.87 bn in the corresponding quarter last year.

Consolidated revenue from operations for the quarter increased 58% YoY to Rs 11.56 bn, up from Rs 7.31 bn in Q4FY25.

EBITDA during Q4FY26 surged 111% YoY to Rs 6.60 bn, while EBITDA margin expanded to 57.1% from 40.2% a year earlier.

For the full financial year FY26, the company's consolidated net profit climbed 97.5% YoY to Rs 9.19 bn, compared to Rs 4.65 bn in FY25. Revenue from operations for the year rose 48.6% YoY to Rs 30.78 bn.

The board also recommended a final dividend of Rs 1.86 per share (face value Rs 5 each) for FY26, in addition to the interim dividend of Rs 1 per share paid on 5 March 2026.

SAIL Q4 FY26 Results

Shares of Steel Authority of India (SAIL) came into focus after the company reported its Q4 FY26 results.

Steel Authority of India (SAIL) reported a 47% year-on-year (YoY) increase in consolidated net profit for Q4FY26 at Rs 18.36 bn, compared to Rs 12.51 bn in the corresponding quarter last year, supported by higher sales volumes and inventory reduction.

Revenue from operations came in at Rs 308.13 bn for Q4FY26, higher than Rs 293.16 bn reported in Q4FY25.

The company's crude steel production during the quarter stood at 5.08 million tonnes, up from 4.85 million tonnes in Q3FY26 and broadly stable compared to 5.09 million tonnes in the March 2025 quarter. Sales volumes improved both sequentially and annually to 4.9 million tonnes in Q4FY26.

EBITDA for the quarter rose 30.3% YoY to Rs 44.09 bn, against Rs 34.84 bn in the year-ago period, while EBITDA margin expanded to 14.3% from 11.5% YoY.

Alongside the results, the company announced a final dividend of Rs 2.35 per share for FY26.

Power Grid Corp Q4 FY26 Results

Shares of Power Grid Corporation of India came into focus after the company reported its Q4 FY26 results.

Power Grid Corporation of India reported revenue from operations of Rs 116.66 bn in the fourth quarter, compared with Rs 122.75 bn in the same period last year, reflecting a 4.9% year-on-year decline.

The company's total income for the quarter stood at Rs 119.71 bn, down from Rs 125.91 bn a year earlier. Total expenses increased to Rs 80.69 bn from Rs 75.50 bn in the corresponding period last year.

In the March quarter (Q4FY26), Power Grid Corporation of India reported a 9.7% year-on-year increase in net profit to Rs 45.46 bn, compared with Rs 41.43 bn in the same period last year.

Meanwhile, the company's board approved a final dividend of Rs 1.25 per share, taking the total dividend for the financial year to Rs 9 per share.
