GAIL Signs Long-Term LNG Carrier Charter Deal
GAIL has made a long-term agreement with Alpha Gas to use a large LNG (liquefied natural gas) carrier called Energy Fidelity. The deal was signed through Alpha Gas's Singapore-based partner, Pantheon Maritime Services, in Athens.
The ship can carry a large amount of LNG and uses modern, fuel-efficient technology that helps reduce pollution. This agreement is part of GAIL's plan to improve its ability to transport LNG and ensure a stable energy supply for India. The company will use this vessel to import gas from countries like the US and Russia.
Overall, this move helps GAIL strengthen its shipping capacity and support India's long-term energy needs.

Cleanmax Strengthens Industrial Green Power Supply
CleanMax Enviro Energy Solutions Limited has started its 185 MW hybrid renewable energy project in Kalavad, Gujarat, combining solar and wind power.
Developed in about a year, the project provides green energy to 17 corporate customers, including publicly listed companies like Apar Industries and Borosil Renewables.
This new project strengthens CleanMax's renewable energy capacity in Gujarat to around 844 MW and ensures a more consistent supply of clean energy for industrial needs.
Once fully operational, it is expected to reduce about 3.61 lakh tonnes of CO2 emissions each year, which is roughly equal to planting 20.9 million trees, supporting India's efforts to cut carbon emissions.
