At present, the BSE Sensex is trading 1,644 points higher, and the NSE Nifty is trading 495 points higher.

Airtel Boosts Data Center Growth Strategy
Bharti Airtel has announced a $1 billion investment in its data center subsidiary, Nxtra Data Limited, along with global investors.
This investment comes from Alpha Wave Global, Carlyle, and Anchorage Capital, with Airtel also putting in funds.
After the deal, Airtel will continue to control Nxtra. Nxtra plans to use this investment to expand its data center network across India and improve its services for businesses, cloud companies, and government clients.
The company already uses AI to boost efficiency and operations. It aims to grow its capacity from about 300 MW to 1 GW in the coming years, targeting a 25% market share.
India's data center industry is rapidly growing due to rising digital usage and cloud demand, making it a crucial area for future growth.
Coforge Gets RBI Nod for Overseas Investment
Coforge has entered into a share subscription and share purchase agreement with Encora US Holdco, Inc. and Encora Holdings Ltd., along with investors Encora Holdco Ltd. and AI Altius Parent (Cayman) Limited.
The company had previously stated that the transaction is subject to several regulatory approvals across different countries. It has already received key approvals, including clearance under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act in the United States, shareholder approval for related matters, and competition approvals in regions like Australia.
The company has now gotten approval from the Reserve Bank of India for overseas investment exceeding $1 billion under the applicable foreign exchange rules.
Other necessary regulatory approvals are currently at advanced stages, and the company will update exchanges once all approvals are finalized.
Texmaco Rail Bags Major JSW Wagon Contract
Texmaco Rail & Engineering Limited has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from JSW Group to manufacture and supply 20 freight wagon rakes valued at about Rs 4.21 billion (bn).
The order includes various types of wagons like BLCS, BLSS, BFNV, and brake vans. These wagons will help improve container transport and make rail logistics more efficient.
The company's Managing Director, Sudipta Mukherjee, said this order strengthens Texmaco's role in supporting India's growing private freight wagon sector. He also noted that as more industries turn to rail transport for better efficiency and sustainability, Texmaco aims to provide high-quality solutions to boost freight capacity and reliability.
This order highlights the increasing involvement of private companies in rail logistics, backed by Indian Railways' efforts to enhance freight movement and lower costs.
Texmaco operates in several areas, including freight wagons, rail infrastructure, and electrical systems.
