Although the benchmark indices opened higher, they traded on a mixed note throughout the session and ultimately closed flat.

Indian equity benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty50, ended the session on a mixed note after trading in a narrow range throughout the day.

At the closing bell, the BSE Sensex  closed 20 points lower

Meanwhile, the NSE Nifty closed 75 points higher (up 0.3%)

HDFC Bank, Bajaj Finance, Eternal are the top gainers today.

TCS, HCL Tech, Tech Mahindra on the other hand, were among the top losers today.

The GIFT Nifty was trading at 23,313 with 46 points at the time of writing.

The BSE 150 Midcap index is trading 1.3% higher, and the BSE 250 SmallCap index is trading 1.3% higher.

Sectoral indices were trading mixed today, with stocks in the power sector and realty sector witnessing buying. Meanwhile, stocks in the IT sector and insurance sector witnessed selling pressure.

The rupee is trading at Rs 95.8 against the US$.

Gold prices for the latest contract on MCX are trading 0.7% higher at Rs 1,54,089 per 10 grams.

Meanwhile, silver prices were trading 1.7% higher at 2,42,336 per 1 kg.

Wipro Launches Solution to Optimize Outage Management

Wipro has launched Wipro STO360, a solution aimed at helping asset-intensive companies manage shutdown, turnaround and outage (STO) activities more efficiently.

The solution was developed in collaboration with Saudi Aramco and SAP and is built on SAP's Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP). It combines Wipro's industry expertise with Aramco's operational experience to support industries such as oil and gas, chemicals, mining, manufacturing and utilities.

Wipro STO360 provides real-time visibility into activities throughout the STO process. It is designed to improve coordination between teams, support faster decision-making and help companies manage complex shutdown and maintenance operations more effectively.

According to Wipro, the solution uses AI and cloud-based technologies to help asset-intensive organisations improve asset reliability, strengthen compliance and increase operational efficiency.
