Wipro Expands Partnership with Google Cloud to Accelerate AI Adoption
Wipro Limited has expanded its partnership with Google Cloud to help businesses adopt Gemini Enterprise and agentic AI at scale. Wipro is also increasing its internal use of Gemini Enterprise and plans to equip more than 10,000 AI-certified employees, including 1,500 Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs), with advanced AI capabilities.
As part of the partnership, Wipro has introduced the LIFT (Launch-Ignite-Flywheel-Transform) framework, designed to help companies move from small AI projects to large-scale AI transformation. The framework combines Google Cloud's Gemini Enterprise with Wipro's AI platforms, WINGS and WEGA, under its Wipro Intelligence suite.
The aim is to help companies move beyond simple automation and use AI agents to handle complex, multi-step business processes with greater security and less human intervention.
Wipro said it is creating a dedicated team of more than 1,500 certified FDEs to combine Google Cloud's AI expertise with Wipro's consulting and engineering capabilities. The team will help customers move from AI pilots to enterprise-wide implementation.
Wipro has also deployed Gemini Enterprise internally as its main platform for managing AI agents. The company is using AI agents across areas such as compliance, HR and sales intelligence to improve productivity, streamline workflows and support faster decision-making.
In addition, Wipro has integrated Antigravity Command Line Interface into its software engineering processes. This allows AI agents to assist developers with planning, coding, testing and application modernisation, resulting in higher productivity and fewer post-production defects.
Overall, the expanded partnership is aimed at helping Wipro and its customers scale AI adoption, improve operational efficiency and turn AI capabilities into measurable business outcomes.
