Indian equity benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty50, ended lower, with the Nifty50 snapping its four-day winning streak as IT and financial shares weighed.
At the closing bell, the BSE Sensex closed 329 points lower (down 0.4%)
Meanwhile, the NSE Nifty closed 85 points lower (down 0.3%)
Tata Steel, Eternal, and NTPC are the top gainers today.
Bajaj Finance, TCS, and Sun Pharma, on the other hand, were among the top losers today.
The GIFT Nifty was trading at 23,384 with 55 points lower at the time of writing.
The BSE 150 Midcap index is trading 0.02% higher and the BSE 250 SmallCap index is trading 0.2% lower.
Sectoral indices were trading mixed today with stocks in services sector and realty sector witnessed buying. Meanwhile, stocks in IT sector and banking sector witnesses selling pressure.
The rupee is trading at Rs 95.5 against the US$.
Gold prices for the latest contract on MCX are trading 0.1% lower at Rs 1,52,850 per 10 grams.
Meanwhile, silver prices were trading 0.3% lower at 2,38,576 per 1 kg.
Optiemus Infracom Surges on CMF Partnership Expansion
Shares of Optiemus Infracom came into focus after CMF by Nothing and Optiemus Group announced an expanded partnership to develop smartphone technology and R&D capabilities in India.
Under the new partnership, Optiemus will also invest in CMF's upcoming Series A funding round. This could help CMF move towards becoming a majority Indian-owned and independent smartphone brand, with products developed and built in India for global markets.
The partnership will focus not only on manufacturing but also on research, engineering and technology development in India. This is aimed at helping India move higher in the smartphone value chain, from simply making devices to developing technology and exporting products globally.
The partnership builds on a manufacturing joint venture announced by Nothing and Optiemus in September 2025. That venture made India a key production base for Nothing and CMF products.
With the latest expansion, manufacturing, investment and R&D will come together under one Indian entity, deepening the companies' commitment to building smartphone technology in India.

Lumino Industries Q1 FY27 Results
Shares of Lumino Industries came into focus after the company reported its Q1 FY27 results.
Lumino Industries reported a 32.40% year-on-year increase in net profit to Rs 401.7 million in the quarter ended June 2026, compared with Rs 303.4 million in the same quarter last year.
The company's sales increased 19.29% to Rs 5,214.3 million in Q1 FY27 from Rs 4,371.1 million in Q1 FY26.
Lumino Industries Limited is a leading player in the power and energy sector. The company manufactures a wide range of products, including cables, conductors and wires.
Lumino Industries also provides Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) services for major infrastructure projects.
Its key areas of operations include power transmission and distribution, railway electrification, reconductoring using HTLS conductors, solar power projects and extra-high-voltage (EHV) projects.
