We sold 32 shares of Canadian-based fertilizer manufacturer Agrium (AGU) this morning at $96.17 per share, jettisoning it from the Virtual Value Portfolio. AGU's performance has been underwhelming and I fail to see any near-term catalyst to get the stock moving higher.
The recent recovery allowed us to take a very modest gain of 1.33% plus dividends.
We’ll put the $3077.44 net proceeds into our cash reserve. We continue to show excellent overall results and hope to redeploy this cash into something more exciting.
