It certainly looks like the bulls have given the bears the old heave-ho, doesn’t it? Sickening as it is, those same goddamned three words – Trade Talk Optimism – is what is sending stocks soaring.

Keep the bigger picture in mind, however. Nothing has changed in the big picture. Dealing with these spikes sucks, I absolutely know. But the “all is well” signal has been given about 97 times this year alone, and every single time it has fizzled out.
