Raymond James analyst Michael Turtis has identified four small cap infrastructure software companies, Rapid7 (RPD), MobileIron (MOBL), Commvault (CVLT), and FireEye (FEYE), that could be takeover targets.

Turtis reiterates Outperform ratings on Rapid7 and MobileIron given his positive fundamental views on these stocks reinforced by recent private market valuations and the potential for a significant premium if a takeout occurred.

The analyst sees potential upside for Market Perform rated Commvault and FireEye, but his view is offset by more challenging stand-alone fundamentals for both companies.
