"Rags-To-Riches" Portfolio Underperforming YTD

The munKNEE "Rags-to-Riches" Portfolio continues to underperform our munKNEE "Multi-bagger" Portfolio by a wide margin YTD.

The "Rags-to-Riches" Portfolio consists of 14 cannabis, psychedelic and plant-based food stocks with market capitalizations of at least $400M, and trading for at least $1/share.

Below are how the various portfolio categories and constituents therein have performed year-to-date:

  1. American Cannabis MSO constituents:
    • Cresco (CRLBF): up 3.4% YTD,
    • Curaleaf (CURLF): DOWN 0.3% YTD,
    • Green Thumb (GTBIF): up 7.4%% YTD,
    • TerrAscend (TRSSF): up 64.5 % YTD,
    • Trulieve (TCNNF): DOWN 7.7% YTD, and
    • Verano (VRNOF): up 0.5% YTD.
      • In total: up 3.3% YTD
    • For comparison purposes, the AdvisorShares Pure U.S. Cannabis ETF (MSOS) is up 2.3% YTD
  2. Canadian Cannabis LP constituents:
    • Canopy Growth (CGC): up 10.6% YTD,
    • Cronos (CRON): DOWN 9.1% YTD, and
    • Tilray (TLRY): up 12.7% YTD.
      • In total: up 4.7% YTD
    • For comparison purposes, the Global X Cannabis ETF (POTX) is up 2.5% YTD
  3. Psychedelic Drug Stock constituents:
    • Atai (ATAI): DOWN 26.7% YTD,
    • Compass Pathways (CMPS): up 16.9% YTD, and
    • GH Research (GHRS): up 5.6% YTD.
      • In total: up 5.8% YTD
    • For comparison purposes, the AdvisorShares Psychedelics ETF (PSIL) is up 16.7% YTD
  4. Plant-Based Food Stock constituents:
    • Beyond Meat (BYND): up 44.3% YTD, and
    • Oatly Group (OTLY): up 27.0% YTD.
      • In total: up 42.2% YTD
    • No comparable plant-based food stock ETFs

The Total Portfolio Performance: up 12.3% YTD
