According to CCTV News citing Iranian sources on the 22nd, a source said that negotiations between Iran and the United States in Switzerland began around 3 p.m. local time on the 21st, and after about an hour and a half, the meeting was suspended for 30 minutes due to delegations needing internal consultations. However, due to Trump's threatening remarks, the Iranian delegation refused to return and continue negotiations. Nevertheless, the Qatari and Pakistani sides continue mediating, with Iran and the United States passing information through intermediaries.

Mediation efforts are still ongoing, but no final outcome has been reached. During the negotiations, the Iranian delegation issued a clear protest against the U.S. side's breach of commitments, especially breaching Article 1 of the Memorandum of Understanding.

The Iranian delegation also urged the U.S. to accelerate fulfillment of its commitments, including unfreezing Iran's frozen assets and issuing sanctions exemptions for Iranian oil exports. On the nuclear issue, the Iranian delegation emphasized that the prerequisite for starting negotiations on nuclear issues is that the United States must fulfill its commitments in accordance with Articles 1, 4, 10, and 11 of the memorandum.

On the 21st, the U.S. and Iranian delegations began negotiations at the Bergen Hill in Switzerland. This is the first round of talks since the signing of the memorandum of understanding between the US and Iran.

The Iranian delegation included Iranian Foreign Minister Alagazi and others. On the U.S. side, Vice President Vance, Presidential Envoy Whitkov, and President Trump's son-in-law Kushner participated in the negotiations. Pakistan and Qatar participated as mediators.

Vance previously stated that the first round of negotiations aims to "establish a practical framework and negotiation mechanism." Iran demanded that the U.S. fulfill its commitments, stating that if the U.S. fails to fulfill its commitments, the entire Iran-U.S. Memorandum of Understanding will "face the risk of breaking."

The negotiation site for the Birgen Mountain Resort was jointly proposed by Pakistan, Qatar, the United States, and Iran. This round of negotiations focuses on the Iranian nuclear issue, as well as the situations in Israel and Lebanon. For more information, please visit: https://www.vngold.asia/
