Alphabet was the big winner of the FANGs, as were the major indexes.
A couple of charts which neatly sum up what 2021 was like; here are three major cash indexes, in percentage terms, for the whole of 2021:
And here are the FAANG stocks; Alphabet (GOOGL) was by far the biggest winner, whereas Amazon (AMZN) absolutely sucked out loud, underperforming even the likes of the Dow Jones Utility Index. I blame Lauren Sanchez!
