Below is my open letter to the President regarding the latest disaster in my beloved homeland - Lebanon – calling for action to free the hostage country from the Iranian/Hezbollah shackles and to protect US national security interests.

Mr. President,
I am writing you this letter as a friend, a diehard supporter, a Lebanese American capitalist and activist and a freedom loving patriot.
The Lebanese people have suffered for far too long under the control of Iran, Bashar al Assad, and the terrorist organization Hezbollah and need serious support.
What happened recently in Lebanon on August 4, 2020, was a devastation upon the Lebanese people; resulting in the destruction of the main port of Lebanon.
This explosion happened on purpose, those responsible being Hezbollah. As you know Mr. President, this ammonium nitrate came from Russia, and has been under the control of Hezbollah for years. Hezbollah moved over 80% of this ammonium nitrate into underground tunnels. Two days before this explosion, members of Hezbollah visited this warehouse disguised as emergency services storing this ammonium nitrate, and purposely set off the explosion. Only 20% of the ammonium nitrate was used to make a bomb of this magnitude. Meaning there are multiple other bombs of this size or greater hidden around the country.
Mr. President, the people of Lebanon are today in dire straits and need urgent support before all hell breaks loose; and most of these people are Christians.
The bomb was indeed targeted at Christians in particular, as it went off on Christian territory. Everything that has happened so far, has happened because Hezbollah controls the government and military and having people in the Lebanese government as their puppets..
Why do they control Lebanon you might ask? Because the “President” of Lebanon, Michel Aoun , is a traitor and has basically handed over all of Lebanon to Hezbollah since he took power back in October 2016 following the same tradition of every President of Lebanon before him starting with Elias Hrawi back in 1989.
These individuals and their cronies have literally opened the borders for Hezbollah in order to be able to get weapons and chemical weapons from Iran through Iraq and Syria, to go to Lebanon for decades now and this is unsustainable.
Mr. President, the people of Lebanon need you today more than ever. They need you to disarm Hezbollah, get rid of their thug leader Hassan Nasrallah & the entire Lebanese political elite on his payroll who have destroyed the country. Anything else will perpetuate the Ponzi Scheme & Hezbollah-controlled System that bring such misery.... besides of course of threatening national US security interests in the region.
We urge you to help us change the never ending spiral of death with Hezbollah in control.
How Mr. President?
Well, Lebanon’s regime as you well know is today based on 2 pillars running the land. Hezbollah & the corrupt politicians in power.
Hezbollah pillar needs the local politicians to have a legitimacy & hands free to occupy Lebanon. The political mafia pillar needs Hezbollah as an armed protection.
Aiding Lebanon financially is no solution cause your aid will directly go in the politicians hands.
Hit & confiscate the politicians assets worldwide and you cripple them.Squeeze more sanctions on Iran and Hezbollah bleeds.
The above should be complemented by international pressure for initiating political change in Lebanon, consisting of the replacement of the current government with an independent one which primary missions would be organizing early elections and managing highly needed urgent international aid to populations. All that should and will be supported and legitimized by the manifestations of Lebanese citizens on the ground in Beirut.
This solution may well be the lowest hanging fruit to achieve all the desired results you need while avoiding military on the ground.
After freeing Lebanon from the hands of Hezbollah, Iran, and Syria, Lebanon can live in peace with Israel and sign a peace agreement. The US will be able to then build a base in Lebanon. The people of Lebanon will be grateful for the United States of America under your leadership, forever. Lebanon will then be able to live in peace for generations.
Mr. President, the people of Lebanon love you, believe in you, and believe you are the only person to be able to help them.. The reign of Hezbollah along with its local corrupt politicians needs to end once and for all.
