Asian markets traded higher on Friday, with Japan's Nikkei 225 rising more than 1.45% and South Korea's Kospi advancing over 1.37%, extending their recent gains as investors elcomed softer US producer inflation data.
US equities closed at fresh record highs on Thursday after a benign producer price report reinforced expectations that the Federal Reserve could keep interest rates unchanged next month.

At present, the BSE Sensex is trading 263 points lower, and the NSE Nifty is trading 63 points lower.
Bajaj Finance, Titan Company, Bharti Airtel are among the top gainers today.
Tata Steel, Axis Bank, and ITC, on the other hand, are among the top losers today.
The BSE 150 Midcap index is trading 0.2% lower, and the BSE 250 SmallCap index is trading 0.07% higher.
Sectoral indices are trading mixed today, with stocks in the metal sector and banking sector witnessing selling pressure. Meanwhile, stocks in the consumer durable sector and healthcare sector witnessed buying.
The rupee is trading at Rs 95.4 against the US dollar.
LG Electronics Q1FY27 Performance
LG Electronics India Ltd reported a 27.2% year-on-year increase in net profit to Rs 6.53 billion (bn) for Q1 FY27, compared with Rs 5.13 bn in the year-ago quarter.
Revenue from operations rose 15.5% year-on-year to Rs 72.33 bn, up from Rs 62.63 bn in Q1 FY26. The company attributed the growth to volume and value-led expansion, supported by strong domestic demand and higher exports.
LG Electronics India said consumer preference is shifting towards feature-rich, higher-value and energy-efficient products, supporting growth across its portfolio.
The company's EBITDA margin expanded by 106 basis points year-on-year to 12.5%, driven by operating leverage from higher volumes, a premium product mix and strong demand in Home Entertainment.
Total expenses increased 14.25% year-on-year to Rs 64.50 bn during the quarter.

Honasa Consumer Q1FY27 Performance
Honasa Consumer reported a 118.36% year-on-year increase in net profit to Rs 0.90 bn in Q1 FY27, compared with Rs 0.41 bn in the year-ago quarter.
Sales increased 27.0% year-on-year to Rs 7.56 bn, from Rs 5.95 bn in Q1 FY26.
The company's EBITDA surged 141% year-on-year to Rs 1.10 bn, compared with Rs 0.46 bn in the corresponding quarter last year. EBITDA margin expanded sharply to 14.6%, from 7.7% a year earlier.
Indigo Paints Q1FY27 Performance
Shares of Indigo Paints are in focus on 14 August 2026, after the company reported its Q1 FY27 results.
Net profit increased 61% year-on-year to Rs 0.42 bn, compared with Rs 0.26 bn in the year-ago quarter.
Revenue grew 19.7% year-on-year to Rs 3.70 bn, from Rs 3.09 bn.
EBITDA increased 40% to Rs 0.62 bn, compared with Rs 0.44 bn a year earlier. EBITDA margin also improved significantly to 16.8%, from 14.3% in Q1 FY26.
