Asian shares held their nerve on Friday as a relentless bond selloff pushed longer dated US yields to two-decade highs, raising borrowing costs worldwide and threatening lofty equity valuations.
Wall Street's benchmark indices finished Thursday, September 24, largely flat as investors weighed rising oil prices and Treasury yields amid continued uncertainty surrounding the Middle East.

At present, the BSE Sensex is trading 6 points higher, and NSE Nifty is trading 11 points lower.
M&M, Asian Paints, HCL Tech are the top gainers today.
Infosys, Tech Mahindra, HUL on the other hand is among the top losers today.
The BSE 150 Midcap index is trading 0.3% lower and the BSE 250 SmallCap index is trading 0.1% lower.
Sectoral indices are trading mixed today with stocks in insurance sector and oil & gas sector witnesses selling pressure. Meanwhile, stocks in auto sector and telecommunication sector witnessed buying.
The rupee is trading at Rs 95.9 against the US dollar.
ESDS Software Solution Q1 Results
Shares of ESDS Software Solution came into focus on Friday after the company reported its Q1 FY27 results.
ESDS Software Solution reported a 13.97% YoY rise in net profit to Rs 292.8 million (m) in Q1 FY27, compared with Rs 256.9 m in the corresponding quarter last year.
Revenue increased 7.28% YoY to Rs 1,336.6 m, from Rs 1,245.9 m in Q1 FY26. Profit growth outpaced revenue growth during the quarter.
ESDS provides enterprise cloud, GPU, data centre and AI infrastructure, built in India and governed by Indian law. Its business is organised across three key service lines: Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Managed Services and Software as a Service (SaaS).
ESDS is among the few Indian players offering an integrated portfolio covering cloud, managed services, data centre infrastructure and software solutions across the full technology stack.

Purple Style Labs Q1 Results
Shares of Purple Style Labs came into focus on Friday after the company reported its Q1 FY27 results.
Purple Style Labs reported a 12.97% YoY increase in sales to Rs 1,194.4 m in Q1 FY27, compared with Rs 1,057.3 m in the corresponding quarter last year.
The company's net loss narrowed to Rs 881.3 m from Rs 1,003.2 m in Q1 FY26, indicating an improvement in profitability despite remaining in the red.
Purple Style Labs Limited currently owns and operates a multi-brand luxury omni-channel fashion platform, Pernia's Pop-Up Shop (PPUS).
PPUS operates through a multi-channel model comprising Experience Centers, its website and mobile app, telephonic and digital channels, as well as events and exhibitions. Its product portfolio spans womenswear, menswear, jewellery, accessories and kidswear, with a strong focus on wedding and occasion wear.
