Tata Motors Secures Major Indonesia Order

Tata Motors Distribusi Indonesia, a wholly owned indirect subsidiary of Tata Motors, has signed an agreement to supply 70,000 vehicles in Indonesia. These vehicles will mainly be used to support agriculture and rural transportation, such as carrying farm produce to markets and moving goods across different regions.

Tata Motors will supply 35,000 Tata Yodha pick-up trucks and 35,000 Tata Ultra T.7 trucks to its Indonesian subsidiary. The vehicles will then be delivered to PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara, an Indonesian government-owned company that is working to modernize agricultural supply chains, support rural cooperatives, and strengthen national food security.

The vehicles will also support Indonesia's Koperasi Desa and Kelurahan Merah Putih Project, which focuses on improving rural connectivity, boosting livelihoods, and strengthening the country's economy.

Tata Motors said its trucks and pick-ups are built for tough conditions and will help reduce logistics costs and improve goods movement across Indonesia. The phased delivery through cooperatives will ensure smooth implementation.
