At present, the BSE Sensex is trading 244 points higher, and the NSE Nifty is trading 61 points higher.
Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra among the top gainers today.
Trent, NTPC, Bharat Elec, on the other hand, are among the top losers today.
The BSE 150 Midcap index is trading 0.3% lower, and the BSE 250 SmallCap index is trading 0.5% lower.
Sectoral indices are trading mixed today, with stocks in the IT sector and oil & gas sector witnessing buying. Meanwhile, stocks in the power sector and metal sector witnessed selling pressure.
The rupee is trading at Rs 95.3 against the US dollar.
Titan Company Q1 FY27 Business Update
Shares of Tata Group jewellery and lifestyle retailer Titan Company came into focus after the company reported its June quarter results.
Titan reported 41% year-on-year growth in its consumer businesses during the first quarter of FY27, driven by strong demand across its jewellery, watches, eyewear and emerging business segments.
Its domestic business grew 37% year-on-year, while international operations recorded a 128% increase.
During the quarter, the company also expanded its retail presence by adding 77 stores, taking its total network to 3,680 outlets.
Trent Reports Strong Quarterly Business Update
Trent shares are in focus after the Tata Group retailer reported a 19% year-on-year (YoY) increase in standalone revenue (excluding GST) to Rs 56.66 billion for the quarter ended June 2026, compared with Rs 47.81 billion in the corresponding period last year.
Revenue from the sale of merchandise, excluding other operating income, also rose 19% YoY during the quarter.
The company continued to expand its retail network, adding one Westside store and 19 Zudio stores during the quarter.
As of June 30, 2026, Trent operated 1,312 stores, comprising 301 Westside outlets, 982 Zudio stores, including seven in the UAE, and 29 stores across its other lifestyle formats.
Hexaware Partners SmartRent for AI Transformation
Hexaware Technologies has entered a strategic partnership with SmartRent to help transform the rental housing technology company's customer operations and revenue management using AI-driven solutions.
As part of the partnership, Hexaware will manage SmartRent's customer support operations from its Hyderabad delivery centre, using AI-powered voice agents and automation across voice, email and chat channels to improve customer experience and service quality.
Hexaware will also deploy its AI-enabled bill-to-cash platform to streamline revenue operations, improve collections and enhance operational efficiency.
In addition, the company will implement Salesforce Revenue Cloud Advanced to modernise SmartRent's lead-to-order process, enabling faster quote generation, better pricing controls and improved visibility into the revenue pipeline.
Hexaware said the partnership aims to combine AI, automation and digital technologies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs and deliver better business outcomes for SmartRent.
