Stock futures moved higher on Wednesday night as investors assessed the latest quarterly earnings from Nvidia and other major technology companies.

At present, the BSE Sensex is trading 50 points lower, and the NSE Nifty is trading 5 points higher.
Kotak Mahindra, Bharat Elec, and Tata Steel are among the top gainers today.
HCL Tech, HDFC Bank, and SBI, on the other hand, are among the top losers today.
The BSE 150 Midcap index is trading 0.1% higher, and the BSE 250 SmallCap index is trading 0.1% higher.
The rupee is trading at Rs 95.2 against the US dollar.
BEL Secures Fresh Defence Contract
Shares of Navratna defence PSU Bharat Electronics Ltd. (BEL) are likely to remain in focus on Thursday, August 27, after the company announced additional orders worth Rs 7.3 billion in a regulatory filing.
The latest orders span a range of defence and technology products, including communication equipment, radars, avionics, tank subsystems, electro-optics, cybersecurity and perimeter security systems, medical electronics, EVMs, jammers, batteries, spares and services.
The fresh order inflow adds to BEL's recent contract wins. On August 10, the company had announced orders worth Rs 5.41 billion, covering communication equipment, electro-optics, ammunition fuzes, CBRN systems, spares and services.

IRB Infra Boosts Exposure to Highway Assets
IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd. plans to invest in IRB InvIT Fund, a SEBI-registered infrastructure investment trust focused on road and highway assets. The company proposes to acquire up to 54 million additional units at Rs 65 per unit, involving a total cash investment of Rs 3.51 billion.
The investment is aimed at helping the InvIT raise funds to acquire two project SPVs from IRB Infrastructure Trust. IRB InvIT Fund reported a consolidated turnover of Rs 14.85 billion, PAT of Rs 3.39 billion and net worth of Rs 77.37 billion for FY26.
The company said the transaction is not a related-party transaction and will be subject to unitholder approval and other required regulatory clearances. IRB InvIT Fund currently owns, operates and maintains 10 revenue-generating highway assets across states including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.
