Netflix (NFLX) reported a disastrous 1Q22 after the close Tuesday. Global streaming additions fell by 200,000 – the first decline I can recall – and even worse they guided 2Q22 to a net loss of 2 million subscribers.
When a growth stock’s growth starts to stall out, the bottom falls out of the stock very quickly. NFLX is currently -22% in the after-hours after already being cut in half in the last five months. This movie is over; roll the credits.
