Loop Capital analyst Stephen Gengaro upgraded National Oilwell Varco (NOV) to Buy with a $40 price target. Current share levels offer an "excellent" risk/reward profile, Gengaro tells investors in a research note. He expects the company's businesses outside of deep-water rig equipment to drive "solid earnings and cash generation" through 2019.
