10:01 AM – Selling the last of my SIBN position here this morning as shares have been forming a series of lower highs and have now clearly broken below their 10 DMA support. The developing downtrend combined with the loss of our key short-term support is enough bearish technical evidence for me to exit the position completely.
James’ Trader’s Tip: Lower Highs Warn of Deteriorating Strength
• A series of lower highs can be an early indication that a stock is beginning to trend lower.
• A subsequent break below the 10 DMA confirms that short-term support has weakened.
• When multiple bearish signs begin stacking up, follow the technical evidence and protect capital.
