Microsoft will buy cyber security firm Hexadite for $100M, Reuters reports, citing Israeli financial news website Calcalist.
Hexadite, which is headquartered in Boston and has an R&D center in Israel, provides technology to automate responses to cyber attacks that it says increases productivity and reduces costs for businesses. Microsoft said earlier this year it plans to invest more than $1B annually on cyber security R&D in the coming years.
