The shift to remote work is permanent, at least for 22% of the workforce. By and large, this is a good thing. Remote workers report being happier and more engaged with their work. 

 

However, remote work can erode boundaries between work and home. Over a third of remote workers report working longer hours than before. We all need virtual team building activities. One thing that can help remote workers keep boundaries in place is tracking time. How long are their workdays, really? Are they taking appropriate breaks and time off? Many remote workers don’t know. For too long, tracking employee hours has been considered the purview of the employer.
