Citi analyst Jason Gursky says the U.S. Special Ops Command Friday after the close awarded the Special Operations Forces Global Logistics Support Services contract to incumbent Lockheed Martin (LMT) over L3 Technologies (LLL), CACI (CACI) and potentially others.

The $8B contract over multiple years is a positive development for Lockheed's MFC segment and an "incremental negative" for L3, the analyst tells investors in a research note. He believes CACI's bid "was always a long shot given the level of competition." Gursky has Buy ratings on all three names.
