The average score in our large cap universe is 58.54. Over the past four weeks, the average score is 59.39. The typical large cap stock in our universe is trading -10.89% below its 52 week high, 4.77% above its 200 dma, has 4.48 days to cover short and is expected to grow EPS by 12.24% next year.

Industrial goods, technology, financials, and basic materials are the top scoring large-cap sectors. Services score in line with the large cap universe average score. Healthcare, consumer goods, and utilities score below average and should be approached on an industry- and stock-specific basis.

Concentrate on aerospace/defense (NOC , BA , RTN), farm & construction equipment (AGCO, CAT, DE), and diversified machinery (IR, DOV) in industrial goods. Focus on lodging, restaurants (QSR, DRI), and railroads (CSX, UNP, NSC) in services. The best technology industries are semi equipment, communication equipment (GLW, HRS), and specialized semiconductor (MCHP , NVDA , XLNX).
