It’s clear cryptocurrency is becoming a part of everyday finances, but the move and acceptance has yet to be made. Banks are hesitant when it comes to dealing with cryptocurrency due to its reputation with the dark web. This all comes down to a lack of education in this area though.
Bitcoin was the start for cryptocurrency, and was the central form of financial currency with the dark web. It was the best way to make secure transactions and is still very much in use. After bitcoin many different types of cryptocurrency were developed, but even still banks have trouble even considering. What are the real dangers?
Other than just making poor transactions, none. A company like PayPal faces almost all of the same risks as cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency does hold a bit more economic strength as it is quite literally an electronic currency that can be used just like the currency in your pocket. And with the growing interest in cryptocurrency it is possible we could see demonetization as more bitcoins are mined.
More knowledge on the use of bitcoins could change the outlook on cryptocurrency entirely. The most banks and businesses know about cryptocurrency is their association with the dark web. The growth of cryptocurrency has proven it’s potential to be more though, as there are some forms of this currency that have never even been associated with the dark web, and yet they end up in that basket with banks fearing to take interest.
