JPMorgan AM Appoints Leslie Rich As Global Head Of Sustainable Investing Research Insights

JPMorgan Asset Management named Leslie Rich as Global Head of Sustainable Investing Research Insights. Rich leverages her clean energy finance expertise to deliver portfolio-relevant analysis and decarbonization strategies.

J.P. Morgan Asset Management (JPM) announced the appointment of Leslie Rich as Global Head of Sustainable Investing Research Insights.

In her new role, Rich will be responsible for leading the delivery of analysis and insights to help inform client portfolios across the firm’s global Sustainable Investing & Stewardship platform.

In a post announcing the appointment, Christian Preussner, Global Head of Sustainable Investing and Stewardship at JPMorgan AM, said:

“Leslie‘s blend of deep utilities research experience and energy transition expertise – spinning clean energy finance and decarbonization strategy – adds real momentum to our sustainable investing research insights capability. It will further strengthen how we translate sustainability developments into rigorous portfolio-relevant analysis for clients globally.”

The appointment marks a return for Rich to JPMorgan AM, after serving for 12 years at the firm as Senior Analyst covering the US Utility sector in Equity Research. Rich left the firm in 2022, and has since served as a Senior Consultant for the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Energy Dominance Financing (EDF), and as a Lecturer at Columbia University, teaching “Financing the Clean Energy Economy” to graduate students in the Sustainability Management program with a focus on project finance modeling, as well as consulting firms on navigating the intersection of electricity demand growth, generation solutions, and grid decarbonization.

In a post announcing the appointment, Rich said:
