Bitcoin and cryptocurrency are not hurting Gold. The answer is no. Gold has performed inline with its fundamentals and the points where Bitcoin has surged and Gold has not (recently & 2017) Gold’s fundamentals were not bullish or it was digesting a previous huge move.
