Today’s instrument is the Halliburton Company, a provider of products and services to the energy industry, which is traded in the NYSE exchange under the ticker HAL.
Looking at HAL‘s chart, we can see that it was lastly traded at around $40.70.
Tomorrow it is announcing its quarterly earnings, and if the market’s anticipation is positive, then today, we should expect it to test its resistance level at around $43. Otherwise, it could drop toward its support level which is located at around $38.50.
