Indigenous Peoples' Day

There are no "indigenous people."[2] We all came from somewhere else, or our ancestors did. In the case of so-called "native Americans," they are descended from those who crossed the "Bering land bridge" from Asia.[3]

My ancestors came from England, Germany, Scotland and Ireland. The first to arrive came from Bristol, England in the late-1700s. Next, were those who came from Germany in the 1840s. Why not create holidays for each of them?

Apparently, the "Indigenous Peoples' Day" replaces, or is in lieu of Columbus Day.[4] I have never had a problem celebrating the Spanish explorer Christopher Columbus' day, and I am not Spanish. Some will criticize the brutality of his conquests, but his explorers were butchered by Indians (or indigenous people) on the island of Santo Domingo.[5]

Comatose Joe Biden recognized this holiday. Should we celebrate his birthday, after he essentially destroyed our country? Quite to the contrary, he and his wife Jill, and Hunter and other members of the Biden Family Crime Syndicate—and their co-conspirators—should be imprisoned for the rest of their lives.

Cancel this Indigenous Peoples' holiday now. It's another woke paean to their perceived constituency, and an affront to every American who has not received his or her own holiday!
