The larger share of youngsters in ASEAN is expected to make it have a larger share of the population in the labor force.

#ASEAN population in the labor force is above the World but below Asia ex Japan | #ChartOfTheDay

Currently, Asia ex Japan has a larger share of its population in the labor force at 69%
ASEAN is just above the world at 67%, note though, that its share of young people is large

By 2050, the ASEAN population is expected to grow by 26%, much more than Asia ex Japan
The larger share of youngsters in ASEAN is also expected to make it have a larger share of the population in the labor force
