Ice Has Another Customer

Mohammed (or Amir) Abri is dead now, or he has been returned to his native Iran—or he occupies a prison cell in the United States or El Salvador.[2]  He needs to be joined by "Randy" who visits a local senior center, brazenly displaying tattoos on his bare chest, possibly signifying gang membership.

Like Abri, he has engaged in ominous threats against an 84-year-old veteran.[3]  Anyone who shelters either Abri or "Randy" is a criminal co-conspirator, and must be dealt with harshly.  Gretchen at the center is such a person, who has been on her own emotional roller coaster.[4]

In antiquity, the practice existed of killing the messenger, or the bearer of bad news.[5]  Rather than addressing the issues involving "Randy," and banning him at the very least, Gretchen has chosen to threaten the veteran.  In the process, she has become a criminal co-conspirator.

Potential killers must be put down like rabid animals, not coddled like the killers of Iryna Zarutska and Kate Steinle were.[6]  Historian Victor Davis Hanson describes it as a "Total Systems Collapse."[7]  ICE is heroic; and it is needed now with respect to "Randy," as it has been with Abri.[8]

An African-American friend has said that women protect and promote other women, to the exclusion of men.  Gretchen is a woman; the senior center is run by another woman; and two other women have decided Gretchen's fate.  Excluded in the process—and yes, discriminated against—is a wonderful and talented African-American male, who is Gretchen's deputy and should be replacing her.

Perhaps the women believe that they had to punish the veteran, because he had the audacity to challenge one of their own, Gretchen.  At a time when funds to support the senior center and its activities may wane or disappear, the women's need for control and revenge is off-putting and un-American, to say the least.

As criminal co-conspirators, they too should be fired, prosecuted and imprisoned; and their personal assets should be seized.  All funding of their activities should cease immediately; and such activities should be investigated thoroughly for similar patterns of wrongdoing and abuse.  Other stringent remedies should be initiated forthwith.
